The first time I tasted this salad dressing was over 34 years ago. It was one of the best homemade salad dressings I had ever tasted! Our next door neighbor shared the recipe, handed down to her from her mother. I am now happy to pass it along to you.

Ingredients
1cupoil(Canola, corn or extra virgin olive oil)
1/2cupsugar
1/2cupvinegar
1/2cupketchup
1/2cupfinely grated Parmesan cheese
1tsp.salt
1/2tsp.freshly ground pepper
1smallonion, finely grated(see recipe notes)
Instructions
Beat, bottle & refrigerate!
Notes
Grating the onion take the most time in this recipe. You can certainly use a hand grater or my favorite, this mini-chopper.
